Drama Club meets on Fridays from 3:30 -5:00 pm in the MPR. Drama Club is designed for students new to Drama. It is a fun opprotunity for students to learn the basics of Drama and make new friends.
Drama Club begins with a warmup game that helps to teach drama skills. Then the students break up into groups to perform a skit led by a TA (teacher's assistant) whose job is to help each group have a fun and successful experience each week.
There is no cost to join Drama Club. The only requirement is that students have a "C" average and good behavior in school. Students also need to arrange for transportation home when Drama Club is over.
Improv:
The Improv Troupe is a special group of people who love to laugh. The Troupe has 12 to 18 sixth - eighth grade students who learn to perform funny scenes in a flash. The students meet every Wednesday to practice, leading to a performance in the spring. This audition group meets Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm in the drama room S-4.
Requirements to join the trooupe are a "C" average, good behavior in school, a completed application with parent signature and a successful audition

Class Announcements Improv and Drama t-shirtsImprov and Drama t-shirts are on sale now! Each white t-shirt with the logo is $10. The shirts are pre shrunk and are sized the same as PE shirts. Drama Boosters!Drama Boosters is an organization of parents who help assist Mrs. Roberts and the drama program by chaperoning field trips, assisting backstage and attending meetings once a month.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, November 5th from 7-8 pm in room S-4. Your help is so needed. This meeting will only last one hour! Snacks are provided. If you need to bring your litttle ones in order to attend, that is fine! Discussion Topics Class Tasks
